About the role
- Provide systems engineering support to Special Projects for the PEO IEW&S System or Systems Engineering (SoSE) team
- Focus on cross-cutting initiatives and PEO-directed special projects onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
- Provide systems engineering services to all projects under federal management
- Utilize integrated system solutions through concurrent consideration of development, manufacturing, test and evaluation, verification, deployment, and operations
- Support PEO portfolio training and professional development including monthly Engineering Huddles
- Provide technical expertise to PEO-wide contracts including authoring PWSs, developing requirements, creating IGCEs
- Deliver subject matter expertise to challenged programs with regular program status updates to the PEO
- Provide additional systems engineering oversight to PMs as needed or directed by the PEO
- Support technical expertise for PEO public affairs artifacts
Requirements
- Systems engineering technical writing
- contract development
- requirements analysis
- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field (preferred)
- Systems Engineering certifications (preferred)
- PMP (preferred)
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI or higher clearance
