About the role
- Accurately input purchase ledger invoices and process staff expense claims in line with policy.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and maintain records.
- Assist with bank and other reconciliations.
- Monitor and respond to the accounts email inbox.
- Undertake ad hoc accounting tasks to support team members and gain experience across all areas of the accounts workload.
- Maintain and update project details in our systems, including project setup, fee updates, and timesheets.
- Support weekly timesheet submissions and resourcing updates, assisting staff with queries.
- Update user details in collaboration with the People & Talent team.
- Ensure accurate and timely circulation of post and documents to relevant teams.
Requirements
- A-level standard education and GCSEs in Maths.
- Strong numerical skills and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- University degree in Maths, Accounting, or a related subject (desirable).
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software (desirable).
- AAT Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (desirable).
