About the role
- Acquisition of new customers in the bakery and confectionery trade
- Conducting needs analyses and developing tailored ERP concepts for bakery businesses
- Advising decision-makers (e.g., owners, production managers, branch managers) on digitalization of inventory management, production planning, procurement/dispatch and branch control
- Presenting and demonstrating SIGNUM software solutions — on-site, online or at trade shows
- Preparing proposals, cost calculations and contract documents in coordination with sales management
- Close collaboration with Customer Success/Consulting to plan and execute customer implementations
- Monitoring the market and competitors to identify new opportunities and trends in bakery software
Requirements
- Professional experience or vocational training in the bakery or confectionery trade
- Proven sales track record in selling inventory management, POS or ERP systems
- Interest in IT, digitalization and the optimization of commercial processes
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in building customer relationships
- Independent, structured working style and high self-motivation
- Committed team player with a collaborative approach
- Willingness to travel (occasional customer visits)
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
