About the role
- Lead the technical evolution of Yuno’s merchant experience, focused on SDKs, APIs, and payment integrations.
- Own system and integration architecture connecting backend services and payment flows.
- Contribute hands-on to development, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
- Ensure scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solutions for enterprise merchants.
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align platform and merchant needs.
- Drive engineering best practices in API design, testing, and performance.
- Support and mentor engineers through technical guidance and architectural direction.
Requirements
- Advanced English; intermediate Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in payments companies or payments-related teams.
- Strong backend engineering experience, with focus on implementation and system design.
- Proven experience building and maintaining SDKs, APIs, and integrations.
- Solid understanding of scalable architectures and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Go, and Node.js.
- Experience contributing to technical decisions and code reviews.
- Experience working on merchant-facing platforms or enterprise systems.
- Experience working in SCRUM or agile environments.
