About the role

  • Lead the Key Account Management Function: Oversee the Key Account Management Latam team, setting strategic goals, and driving overall performance to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Mentor and Develop the Team: Provide leadership and professional development to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key merchants alongside individual account managers.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Lead the team to identify new business opportunities and leverage market and competitor insights to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with technical, business, legal, sales, marketing, product, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Oversight: Oversee the successful implementation and ongoing growth of client accounts, utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and achieve performance objectives.
  • Develop Account Strategies: Support the team in designing strategies to achieve long-term growth and client retention.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong understanding of payment technologies, financial services, and industry regulations.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or Client Relationship Manager.
  • You are an amazing leader that people love to work with: proven experience in a leadership role handling international clients in the payments' industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-graduation or any certification in people management or leadership.
