About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and evolve the KFC FSQA data program, including building and/or updating BI dashboards, recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and performance visibility across food safety, product quality, and operational measures.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights by identifying trends, recurring issues, and emerging risks, then communicating clear recommendations to FSQA and cross-functional partners.
- Manage the KFC processing product quality complaints program, including intake, documentation, trend reporting, follow-up, and credit resolution coordination.
- Improve the quality, consistency, and usability of FSQA data by strengthening reporting processes, system workflows, and data governance practices.
- Support investigations and issue management through structured analysis, root cause trend identification, and reporting that helps prioritize corrective actions.
- Build clear, decision-ready updates and presentations for leaders and stakeholders, with a focus on story telling; what matters, why it matters, and what should happen next.
- Partner across FSQA, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, customer care, distribution, suppliers, and IT support teams to improve visibility, follow-through, and business outcomes.
- Lead cross-brand, cross-functional projects as needed to support business and regulatory updates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Food Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, food safety, quality assurance, compliance, or a related business support role
- Experience managing complex data, reporting processes, or business systems in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Advanced Excel skills and experience building dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools
- Experience with analytics and visualization platforms such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Experience with complaint, issue management, QA, or workflow systems (i.e., ServiceNow)
- Ability to validate data, improve data quality, and streamline reporting processes
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled productivity and analysis tools, SQL, automation, or database tools preferred, with the ability to use these tools to improve reporting efficiency and insight generation
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor insights to different audiences
- Strong prioritization, ownership, and follow-through across multiple stakeholders
- Continuous improvement mindset with a practical, business-focused approach
- Experience supporting QSR, restaurant, franchise, food manufacturing, or supply chain quality programs
- Familiarity with food safety, quality, audit, or compliance programs
- Experience translating business questions into metrics, analyses, and practical recommendations
