About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct trade area analysis, market mapping, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and development priorities.
- Analyze store performance, demographic trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics to generate actionable business insights.
- Build and maintain financial models, scenario modeling tools, and sales forecast projections to support investment decision-making.
- Partner with Field Real Estate Teams and franchisees on ad-hoc development projects, site evaluations, and market optimization strategies.
- Present insights and recommendations through compelling storytelling at monthly and quarterly investor and leadership meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to refine forecasting methodologies, mobile impact projections, and development success criteria.
- Drive continuous improvement of analytics tools, reporting capabilities, and GIS-based development models to support long-term growth strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in real estate development, market analytics, investment analysis, or related strategic planning functions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Economics, Business, Real Estate, Applied Geography, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Strong experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and forecasting methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into clear business recommendations that influence decision-making.
- Experience presenting analytical insights to senior leadership, franchise partners, or investment stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with analytical and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, and AI-enabled analytics platforms.
- Experience with GIS and market intelligence platforms such as ESRI, MapInfo, SiteIntel, or related geospatial technologies preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
