Housekeeper, Prep Cook

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Clean and sanitize rooms, common areas, dining facilities, and other designated spaces according to established standards.
- Change linens, towels, and amenities as needed.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and empty trash receptacles.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocks are needed.
- Assist in meal prep, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and following recipes.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring proper storage of food items and cleanliness of cooking utensils.
- Follow food safety protocols and health regulations, ensuring safe food handling practices.
- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth camp operations.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- ServSafe Certification
- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or food service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as part of the rotation schedule.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy objects throughout the workday.
