Senior Sustainability Analyst
Ypê. Lead the social topics stream for B Lab certification, conducting gap diagnostics against the new standards, proposing structural improvements, and supporting responsible areas in designing and implementing initiatives — with a special focus on the supply chain — to ensure compliance with requirements, robustness of evidence, internal integration, and excellence in audit and certification processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the social topics stream for B Lab certification, conducting gap diagnostics against the new standards, proposing structural improvements, and supporting responsible areas in designing and implementing initiatives — with a special focus on the supply chain — to ensure compliance with requirements, robustness of evidence, internal integration, and excellence in audit and certification processes.
- Conduct human rights due diligence processes, including identification of material issues, assessment and prioritization of risks and impacts, and definition and monitoring of prevention, mitigation and remediation plans. Ensure regulatory compliance, anticipate regulatory demands and manage liabilities, promoting ethical conduct and the protection of the dignity of affected people.
- Develop and manage the company's social indicators, including data analysis and consolidation of diagnostics to support decision-making. Lead the preparation of reports, studies and strategic documents, ensuring technical quality, traceability of information and transparency in communication of results and social performance.
- Lead and manage strategic Sustainability projects focused on social topics, such as incentive programs, volunteering and donations/sponsorships, from scope definition to delivery of results, ensuring governance, strategic alignment, consolidation of indicators and impact measurement.
- Structure and implement a social-focused Sustainability strategy through analysis of risks, impacts and opportunities across operations and the value chain. Lead development and updates of policies, guidelines and institutional positions, ensuring consistency in communication and strengthening reputational value.
- Support the area responsible for Diversity & Inclusion in structuring, implementing and monitoring initiatives and action plans (e.g., Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion), contributing with data analysis, indicators, integration with the Corporate Sustainability strategy and incorporation of stakeholder feedback, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Promote engagement with external organizations and cross-sector collaborative initiatives to amplify positive social impact.
- Engage internal areas and partners, supporting the incorporation of human rights, fair labor and social criteria into processes, projects, procurement and operations. Identify opportunities for innovation and socio-environmental value creation, ensuring alignment with the Sustainability Master Plan.
- Serve as focal point and technical reference on social topics, promoting organizational literacy in Sustainability — with emphasis on human rights and other social issues — strengthening a collaborative culture, internal client orientation and cross-functional integration.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Biology or related fields (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) (required).
- Proficiency in English (required).
- Strong knowledge of international frameworks and standards (B Lab / B Corp, United Nations, ILO, UNGPs) (required).
- Experience with Human Rights Due Diligence (required).
- Experience with social projects (incentive programs, volunteering, donations) (required).
- Knowledge of social risk management (required).
- Knowledge of ESG management across the value chain (required).
- Experience with data analysis (quantitative and qualitative) (required).
