About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be the owner of the knowledge of factory productivities related to Semi-Finished, Blow Molding and Finishing processes;
- Execute projects aimed at improving Productivity and reducing GGF;
- Lead the process of defining OEE/OTIF targets: Prepare target proposals; Validate targets with each plant; Validate with Executive Management; Formalize the defined targets for all related areas;
- Serve as a member of the GA or ME pillar, contributing to the development of Productivity indicators;
- Management of Productivity indicators: Compile productivity indicator results; Ensure and participate in governance meetings; Prepare materials to report results; Facilitate the connection between strategic objectives and the application of management methodologies to ensure results; Promote and share the implementation of best practices across related areas; Monitor the progress and adherence to implemented processes tied to established results.
- OEE accuracy: Manage and ensure the accuracy of the equipment efficiency indicator (OEE);
- Conduct trainings to ensure correct understanding at all hierarchical levels regarding Manufacturing standards and procedures; Ensure the functionality of the resources required for the proper operation of the automatic stoppage and production data collection system (MDS equipment registration, nominal registration, sensors and MES HMIs); Perform stratification and identification of productivity losses; Conduct practical trainings to ensure correct understanding of the production flow and the use of the MES HMI.
- OTIF accuracy for lines: Manage and ensure the accuracy of the OTIF indicator;
- Conduct trainings to ensure correct understanding at all hierarchical levels regarding Manufacturing standards and procedures; Perform stratification and identification of productivity losses.
- Loss reduction: Ensure that the systematic treatment of the largest losses takes place (Mandamentos); Apply action mandates to the company's Top 5 losses; Generate A3 reports for applied mandates; Hold routine meetings with plants to monitor actions;
- Develop productivity-related training for industrial area employees: Identify additional opportunities for knowledge management in production areas;
- Develop standardization of the area's activities, creating alignment with affected areas; Prepare IOPs and procedures; Train teams.
- Recognition Program: Provide support meetings with plants; Conduct technical visits to support the identification of opportunities; Consolidate and send the program's monthly closure; Perform time studies (crono analysis) to identify opportunities in processes.
- MDS registrations: Register nominals; Register OEE targets; Register productive resources; Register resource inactivity, enable stoppages, installation locations, etc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required in Administration, Engineering or related fields;
- Mandatory knowledge of TPM;
- Mandatory knowledge of analysis and problem-solving tools (MASP, 8D, CapDo and DMAIC);
- Preferable knowledge of statistical tools using Minitab;
- Preferable experience in drafting flowcharts for complex manufacturing processes;
- Mandatory CEP – Knowledge to implement multidisciplinary teams for tool usage;
- Mandatory knowledge of Kanban and A3;
- Preferable knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
- Preferable knowledge of Power BI;
- Mandatory knowledge of problem-solving tools;
- Preferable knowledge of Routine Management;
- Mandatory knowledge of SAP/MES.
