About the role
- Manage the company's distribution and transfer freight costs, monitor the area's action plans, manage KPIs, present results and track the evolution of freight costs.
- Identify opportunities to correct deviations and translate improvement opportunities into action plans with the team.
- Establish and manage the transportation matrix, balancing cost, vehicle availability and delivery service levels.
- Monitor the transportation market, prospect new partners, develop and negotiate commercial agreements with carriers, and manage the service levels (SLAs) of contracted carriers.
- Serve as a leader, facilitator and developer of people and teams within the company, with a deep understanding of the area's objectives, indicators and targets; connecting them with processes and people to ensure the team's performance positively impacts results.
- Know and apply practices of conscious consumption and natural resource preservation, in accordance with the company's HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policies; understand environmental impacts and risks and be familiar with emergency response procedures.
- Promote and participate in socio-environmental programs and events to foster sustainability and social responsibility projects within the organization, ensuring the link between the company, the community and the environment so operations are aligned with best socio-environmental practices and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, E-Law and Hyperion.
- Experience in purchasing processes, negotiation, strategic sourcing and freight cost structure.
- Availability to work in Amparo, São Paulo (SP).
