About the role
- Lead and develop a team of 6 Managers and 1 Coordinator, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Manage logistics operations for large Distribution Centers (DCs) and distribution transportation across Brazil.
- Ensure optimization of logistics processes, meeting KPIs and continuously improving results.
- Maintain customer service levels, focusing on order cycle metrics (OTIF, Returns, etc.).
- Identify solutions to operational challenges and work to double the scale of operations.
- Negotiate transportation and warehousing contracts, ensuring efficiency and appropriate costs.
- Implement sustainable practices within logistics operations and promote energy efficiency.
- Provide analytical and strategic insights to optimize the operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or related fields (preferably in STEM).
- Experience in people management, with proven leadership and team development skills.
- Experience in Distribution Center operations, especially in large retail DCs.
- Knowledge of customer service level management and logistics metrics (OTIF, Returns, etc.).
- Familiarity with WMS (SAP preferred) and TMS (Transport Management Systems).
