About the role
- Monitor and execute manual and automated tests at all stages of development, ensuring the software meets quality standards and functions as expected.
- Study the software development project, including reviewing requirements documentation, design, and other relevant project materials to understand system objectives and use cases and to inform the choice of the most appropriate test approach.
- Develop the test plan based on project requirements, defining objectives, scenarios, priorities, and schedule to ensure comprehensive and efficient testing.
- Create detailed test scenarios, defining conditions, actions, and expected results for each test.
- Document test scenarios, describing the steps to be followed to execute each test.
- Execute software tests according to the plan, using the right tools to identify defects.
- Analyze test results and document any defects found.
- Conduct reviews and perform retesting after fixes.
- Develop automated software tests.
- Prepare the user manual, presenting information in an accessible and organized manner.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices in software testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress, preferably in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or other Information Technology-related fields;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with manual testing (applying regression, exploratory, usability, integration, and performance testing, as well as test planning and writing in BDD (Gherkin));
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation;
- Solid knowledge of methods, techniques, and processes used in software work, including test planning and strategies, creating scenarios, and executing tests;
- Strong experience with Postman for API testing; Cypress, Robot Framework, and Selenium for test automation (web, desktop, and mobile);
- Solid understanding of software development and programming languages (Cypress + JavaScript; Robot Framework + Python; Selenium + Python);
- Intermediate knowledge of Agile methodologies;
- Dedication, responsibility, and a willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies;
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and bring creative ideas to the group;
- Proactivity in problem solving and seeking innovative solutions;
- Commitment to quality and delivering results.
