About the role
- Engage with and make real the product vision and roadmap for Youtopia’s AI-driven precision nourishment platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, creating clear user stories and acceptance criteria for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric features
- Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Engage with stakeholders, including medical and nutrition experts, to gather requirements and ensure clinical and user expectations are met
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate product assumptions and refine features
- Work with designers to ensure UI/UX aligns with product vision
- Partner with engineers to assess technical feasibility, clarify requirements, and balance trade-offs
- Define and track KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance
- Communicate product progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders and team members
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in health, nutrition, and AI
- Advocate for the user and ensure personalized, accessible, impactful solutions
- Manage multiple priorities and projects, ensuring timely delivery of features
- Mentor team members on product management best practices
- Proactively identify risks, resolve blockers, and escalate issues when necessary
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field required
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Trello, Confluence
- Experience creating user stories, managing product backlogs, and defining acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and collaboration with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD)
- Understanding of software development processes for web and mobile applications
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
- Ability to translate complex business and user requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and health-related technologies (plus)
- Experience conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing
- Strong understanding of B2B/B2C product development and customer journey mapping
- Ability to define and track KPIs and success metrics
- Candidates must reside in the greater Denver Metro area
