About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the 24-hour triage crisis hotlines
Dispatch counselors into the community to respond to calls
De-escalate conversations and screen for safety concerns
Preserve the dignity of people served and work cooperatively with the community
Attend three weekly meetings—individual, team, and clinical consultation—for professional development and clinical skill enhancement
Complete accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system
Provide crisis assessment, intervention, risk evaluation, and stabilization support for youth and families
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in a social services discipline (required)
Degree in social work, drug and alcohol education or counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, marriage and family therapy, or another discipline subject to review
Current, valid driver’s license
Automobile for work purposes
Proof of auto insurance
Provisionally licensed (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or working towards licensure (strongly preferred)
Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position (preferred)
One year of clinical experience (preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
