About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the link between business and technology: understand customer and business needs, translate them into clear technical requirements, and ensure the development team knows exactly what needs to be done.
- Guide technical decisions: help define, together with the team, which technologies, architectures, and solutions best meet the project's needs, always aligning with product objectives.
- Prioritize the backlog: organize demands so the team stays focused, balancing technical improvements, new features, and maintenance.
- Communicate and align expectations: engage with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to ensure everyone understands what is being done, why, and how.
- Ensure quality and sustainability: oversee maintenance and infrastructure to keep the product reliable, scalable, and secure in the long term.
- Serve as a bridge between business areas and development teams: ensure business needs are clearly defined and converted into technical requirements.
- Advise on technical decisions: actively participate in planning, bringing both functional and technical perspectives to architecture, infrastructure, and product design decisions.
- Translate functional requirements into technical stories and tasks: ensure the backlog is clearly understood by all parties, detailing acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
- Prioritize the backlog: together with the business team, balance the need to deliver value quickly with maintenance demands and system infrastructure evolution.
- Manage maintenance and infrastructure: oversee performance, security, and scalability aspects, aligning them with the product roadmap.
- Communicate effectively: maintain continuous dialogue with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to align expectations, share progress, and resolve impediments.
- Ensure technical feasibility: assess the complexity of requests and guide the team in adopting agile methodologies and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed.
- Technical knowledge: basic understanding of software development, system architecture, system documentation, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Functional and flow-oriented mindset: ability to map business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Communication skills: ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels and areas, articulating technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with product roadmaps: ability to understand roadmaps and set priorities, balancing business needs and technical constraints.
- Experience with documentation: ability to create and maintain system documentation, ensuring transparency and traceability of requirements.
