About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and working closely with the Risk Department, you will oversee credit application processing and control activities
- Ensure a balance between commercial performance, risk control, regulatory compliance, operational quality and customer experience in a hyper-growth environment
- Manage an in-house team of 4 employees
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, quality standards and credit rules
- Ensure achievement of performance targets for the internal team and the external service provider
- Define the control plan in collaboration with the Risk and Quality teams
- Ensure execution and drive corrective actions
- Ensure application of credit rules and regulatory requirements
- Identify operational risks and implement necessary mitigation actions
- Challenge underwriting rules and contribute to the evolution of decision models
- Leverage data to optimize performance, customer journeys and risk management
- Propose and implement automation and artificial intelligence projects to improve efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have at least 10 years of experience, with significant time in a banking or fintech environment
- You have previously managed a team and have proven managerial experience
- You possess strong risk analysis skills and a good understanding of decision models
- You are focused on operational performance and continuous improvement and rely on data/AI on a daily basis
- You demonstrate cross-functional leadership and can collaborate effectively with Risk, Product, Data and Quality teams
- You have a working level of English
