About the role
- develop and implement effective sales strategies to identify, qualify, and convert high-value prospects for services and solutions
- build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- apply a consultative approach to understand client business challenges and articulate how our solutions deliver tangible value
- independently lead complex negotiations, structuring deals that maximize value for both clients and our company
- monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies
- provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to departmental planning and strategy
- develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities
- proactively identify and secure opportunities to expand client engagements through additional services and solutions
- provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and contributing to team development
Requirements
- fluent in German and English (both spoken and written) is mandatory
- knowledge of French or Swedish is highly desirable
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in software/SaaS sales
- proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- experience in prospecting
- experience selling technical solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers
- knowledge of software market landscape and partner ecosystem is a plus
- good understanding of software product development in different market segments (e.g. industrial, automotive, medical & life science, finance)
- good understanding of software development life cycle
- familiarity with software quality, security solutions, and/or version control system
- exceptional communication and presentation skills across different organizational levels
- strong negotiation abilities and commercial acumen
- advanced proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- adept at analyzing client needs and tailoring solutions to address specific business challenges
- ability to define tailored value proposition for Customers
