About the role
- Analyze operational and financial data to evaluate cost drivers, margins, productivity, and profitability across manufacturing and supply chain activities
- Develop financial models to support cost analysis, scenario planning, and investment decision-making
- Perform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods; identify root causes and clearly communicate insights
- Partner with operations leaders to quantify the financial impact of process changes, yield improvements, waste reduction, and sourcing decisions
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Maintain rolling forecasts and track performance against plan
- Assist in developing volume, cost, and productivity assumptions in partnership with operational stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain standardized financial and operational reporting for regular business reviews
- Build automated dashboards and reporting tools that link operational metrics to financial outcomes
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity of KIPs such as cost per unit, labor efficiency, inventory valuation, and yield
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand operational processes and identify opportunities for financial and operational improvement
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Systems teams to ensure financial data integrity across ERP, inventory, and production systems
- Support month-end close activities related to operations, including accruals, inventory analysis, and cost reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Financial Analytics, Business, or related field
- 1-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or cost accounting (preferably in manufacturing or CPG)
- Strong SQL, Excel, and BI tool skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and operational finance concepts (inventory, standard costing, variances)
- Experience with data governance, data quality, or master data management is highly preferred
