About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand business goals, user needs, and project requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, and gather insights to inform design decisions, create user journeys, and other UX/UI artifacts.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups using, ensuring designs are scalable and align with best practices.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytical data to continually improve the product's user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing support and guidance throughout the development process.
  • Actively contribute to the product design process, including ideation sessions, design sprints, and design critiques, while ensuring design consistency and alignment across different product touch-points.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and industry standards, and share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Advocate for a user-centric approach to product design, championing the importance of usability, accessibility, and delighting the end-user.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as product design, interaction design, or graphic design. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in product design, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Strong experience design thinking and user-centric approach principles
  • Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
  • Good visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts, rationale, and design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on user-centered design and the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • A collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
