About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage execution of projects supporting organizational priorities through the Y’s Innovation Process
- Build network capacity and align work with leading practices
- Engage cross-functional teams to strengthen development and delivery of community-based services
- Manage YMCA network facilitation processes to increase adoption of Y-USA products and solutions
- Provide programmatic support and refine facilitation strategy
- Support alignment with network activation
- Ensure effective use of systems supporting the YMCA network
- Develop and refine tools, processes, and methods to capture learnings and strengthen support systems
- Promote consistent, high-quality implementation and continuous improvement across the Movement
- Manage assigned components of grant-funded initiatives
- Cultivate relationships and coordinate deliverables
- Contribute to program and financial reporting
- Ensure timely completion of commitments aligned with project goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business or related disciplines required
- 4–8 years of experience required
- Advanced functional skills
- Intermediate industry knowledge and experience
- Entry to intermediate managerial skills
- Complex/advanced functional and operations task experience
- Experience managing a team or function
- High degree of decision-making within own area
- Ability to implement policy and strategy for short-term results
- Internal and external communications experience
- High influence over teams and within the function
- Ability to set goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results
