About the role

  • Develop and implement the overall strategy for event planning, production, and execution in alignment with organizational priorities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the event planning and production team
  • Oversee the end-to-end sourcing, planning, coordination, and delivery of events and assigned meetings
  • Co-develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strong ROI
  • Partner with the Growth and External Engagement team to ensure positive event experiences
  • Establish and maintain standards for event quality, guest experience, and operational excellence
  • Identify emerging trends in event management and implement modern technologies or processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and logistical requirements for all events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • CMP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience required in event and meeting planning, convention management or hospitality
  • Deep functional expertise and functional thought leadership
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Management-level autonomy; no daily supervision from manager
