Systems Engineer

• Help design, build, and maintain infrastructure systems that power our core SaaS platform, with a focus on performance, security, reliability, and developer experience
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Engineering, SRE, and Security teams to drive infrastructure projects from concept through production
• Evaluate existing systems and implement architectural improvements that increase scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency
• Build and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar technologies
• Use configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or similar to improve consistency and automation across environments
• Support and evolve containerized platforms and orchestration systems, including technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Nomad
• Contribute to observability and operational excellence through monitoring, logging, alerting, and instrumentation improvements
• Document system designs, platform standards, and operational best practices, and instruct developers on how to use them effectively
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning
• Participate in an on-call rotation and help maintain the health, availability, and performance of production systems

• Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on securing new business and contributing directly to Yext's growth goals.
• Proactively build and nurture a qualified pipeline through cold outreach, email campaigns, and market research.
• Identify and develop high-potential territories and verticals, crafting strategic go-to-market plans that set us apart from the competition.
• Present Yext’s comprehensive suite of solutions to senior executives, clearly demonstrating the business impact and ROI of our platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, driving long-term relationships and expansion opportunities.
• Accurately forecast sales activity and consistently deliver against key performance indicators.
• Represent Yext as a brand ambassador at industry events and in customer interactions.

• Achieve and exceed sales quota through identification, qualification and closure of new, upsell and cross-sell business
• Develop and cultivate relationships with high value partner prospects
• Understand partners’ needs and effectively communicate how Yext will meet them
• Mandatory use of Salesforce.com for activity logging, lead qualification, opportunity management, forecasting and maintenance of customer data
• Own and actively manage relationships with all acquired and inherited business which comprises your personal book of business
• Deliver product demonstrations and leverage Yext software knowledge to effectively and efficiently communicate value to prospects and clients
