About the role
- Hire, coach, and manage a team of growth marketers, channel owners, field marketers, and campaign developers with the goal of building marketing programs that generate Mid-Market and Enterprise sales opportunities.
- Build the overarching strategy for how Yelp’s Mid-Market and Enterprise growth marketing program will generate sales opportunities including channel selection, technology investments, campaign cadence, messaging, sales partnership, budget allocation, and account targeting prioritization.
- Develop and lead a process to launch integrated, multi-channel campaigns with Yelp’s latest, best product and innovation messaging on available channels to generate opportunities from accounts not responding to sales activity.
- Work with cross-functional leadership in Sales, Product, RevOps, and BizOps to create a fast opportunity handoff and SLA process, tell the best story, and measure the impact on the business.
- Own budget development and resource allocation including agency management, FP&A partnerships, monthly spend reporting, spend optimization, and building cases for new investment opportunities.
- Build reporting views and cadence to tell a real-time story of the impact of the program on Sales and the Mid-Market and Enterprise Yelp Advertising business down to revenue whenever possible.
- Present learnings and program impact to leadership in an effort to build transparently and make other GTM teams more effective.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a similar Mid-Market and/or Enterprise Demand Generation or Growth Marketing leadership role; ideally in a media or SaaS environment.
- Deep expertise in modern Demand Generation tactics and technology including but not limited to signal-based marketing, high-volume automation, and AI workflows.
- Experience hiring and managing great talent across multiple forms of marketing expertise.
- Strong business and product intuition, and the ability to synthesize metrics and trends into clear recommendations.
- Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, and rapid test iteration.
- Excellent communicator, verbal and written.
- Skilled at translating complex analyses into actionable insights for all audiences.
- Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to stay ahead on AI, analytics trends, and evolving marketing technology.
- Organized thinking and clear leadership principles that help teams build and adapt quickly.
