About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the roadmap and ongoing evolution of assigned platform capabilities
- Balance business value, customer needs and technical considerations in prioritisation decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
- Maintain ownership throughout the complete product lifecycle
- Maintain a healthy, prioritised and delivery-ready backlog
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Support Engineering during development with timely clarification and decision-making
- Validate delivered solutions against agreed business objectives
- Coordinate with QA for successful business acceptance before release
- Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions
- Communicate priorities, trade-offs and delivery expectations
- Build alignment between Product, Engineering and business stakeholders
- Encourage evidence- and business-value-based collaborative decision-making
- Monitor product performance and adoption
- Use operational insight, player feedback and data to identify improvement opportunities
- Contribute to Product standards, governance and best practices
- Support the ongoing maturity of the Product organisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience as a Product Owner within software or digital platforms
- Proven experience working closely with Engineering teams
- Strong project, backlog management and prioritisation skills
- Experience translating business requirements into clear product requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience delivering complex software products within Agile environments
- Platform product experience (desirable)
- Payments, Wallet or Financial Platform experience (desirable)
- Social Casino, Gaming or regulated industry experience (desirable)
- Experience supporting organisational or platform transformation (desirable)
- Experience working across multiple brands or markets (desirable)
