Key responsibilities & impact

Own the full lifecycle of security detection and response inside the SOC
Design and maintain SIEM detection rules

Build and maintain SOAR playbooks
Manage end-to-end vulnerability triage process
Review and approve IAM policy changes
Conduct infrastructure security control checks
Provide SOC and cloud posture metrics for reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 5 years of experience in security operations, cloud security, or infrastructure security engineering
Hands-on AWS security experience
Kubernetes and EKS security experience
SIEM operations experience
Vulnerability management experience
IaC security knowledge
Incident response skills
Familiarity with regulatory environments
Ability to author and tune detection rules independently
Professional certifications like AWS Security Specialty highly valued
Scripting ability in Python or Bash
Experience with SOAR or workflow automation platforms
Understanding of cryptocurrency or blockchain security considerations
Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
