About the role

  • Act as the final technical reviewer for complex setups, including global traffic routing and EKS scaling.
  • Architect robust solutions to ensure strict adherence to our 99.99% System Uptime Executive OKR.
  • Identify underlying root causes for critical production incidents and provide permanent fixes.
  • Lead service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning to ensure scalability.
  • Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical systems to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Establish trust with senior leaders by aligning technical priorities with business goals.
  • Partner with SecOps to ensure our global infrastructure meets rigorous security standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with large-scale production environments and infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience leading site reliability engineers or software developers building customer-facing applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture (Serverless, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, and S3).
  • Strong grasp of Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD principles (GitHub Actions).
  • Proven ability to learn and master new technologies on the fly.
  • Solid understanding of performance monitoring tools and Linux operating systems.
  • Proven, deep experience managing and securing Kubernetes (EKS) at scale is a significant advantage.
  • Strong grasp of complex networking concepts required for global multi-region deployments and secure B2B integrations.
