Backend Engineer

• Design, develop, and optimize DeFi protocols on EVM-compatible chains, emphasizing contract architecture, security, gas optimization, and upgradability
• Develop key backend and off-chain services in Go or Python, including monitoring systems, liquidation bots, and liquidity rebalancers
• Tackle cross-chain integration challenges, ensuring atomicity, data consistency, and reliable asset bridging in an asynchronous environment
• Rapidly iterate in an Agile environment and produce robust documentation and system architecture diagrams

• Define and drive the long-term product vision, strategy, and quarterly roadmaps for Clovis.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver seamless cross-chain lending, liquidity, and asset management experiences.
• Conduct market and user research to map journeys, identify pain points, and ensure product-market fit.
• Draft clear user stories, technical specifications, and product documentation that empower engineering and protocol teams.
• Coordinate engineering sprints and ensure timely execution across cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, smart contracts, data, design, risk).
• Work with data teams to set up dashboards, monitor product performance (e.g., TVL, user retention, transaction success), and propose actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with risk teams to model economic implications, set protocol parameters, and maintain robust guardrails.
• Cultivate partnerships, support integrations, and act as a Clovis advocate at industry and community events.
• Oversee product releases, manage testing/QA processes, and own internal product excellence initiatives.

Full-stack Engineer

• Develop and maintain DeFi web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Implement Web3 integrations with Wagmi v2, RainbowKit, and wallet connection flows
• Build and optimize backend APIs and services in TypeScript (Node.js) and Python
• Write and maintain Subgraphs (The Graph) to index on-chain data for frontend consumption
• Design responsive, performant UIs that handle real-time blockchain data
• Build data collection and analytics pipelines (event tracking, dashboards, and data QA) to support marketing and growth data requests
• Collaborate with protocol engineers to surface contract interactions through clean UX
