About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor and operate security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, etc.) to identify alerts and potential threats.
Support analysis and investigation of security incidents, following defined incident response (IR) procedures.
Assist in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and corporate antivirus.
Perform vulnerability analyses and support patch management, escalating risks when necessary.
Contribute to the creation and updating of playbooks and security operational procedures.
Interact with IT, infrastructure, and development teams to support security initiatives.
Collaborate on security awareness activities for employees.
Assist in meeting compliance requirements, such as LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), ISO 27001, and other applicable standards.
Produce operational reports and support the consolidation of security metrics.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience working in areas related to cybersecurity or information security.
Experience with log analysis, endpoint security, alert identification, and basic incident investigation.
Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) and operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).
Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, and strong organizational skills.
Technical reading proficiency in English.
