About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and operate security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, etc.) to identify alerts and potential threats.
  • Support analysis and investigation of security incidents, following defined incident response (IR) procedures.
  • Assist in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and corporate antivirus.
  • Perform vulnerability analyses and support patch management, escalating risks when necessary.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of playbooks and security operational procedures.
  • Interact with IT, infrastructure, and development teams to support security initiatives.
  • Collaborate on security awareness activities for employees.
  • Assist in meeting compliance requirements, such as LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), ISO 27001, and other applicable standards.
  • Produce operational reports and support the consolidation of security metrics.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience working in areas related to cybersecurity or information security.
  • Experience with log analysis, endpoint security, alert identification, and basic incident investigation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) and operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).
  • Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, and strong organizational skills.
  • Technical reading proficiency in English.
