About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure alignment between the brand's business objectives and media strategies, working integrally with other Marketing areas;
- Ensure that the media strategy rationale is applied to the creative direction and the brand's business plan;
- Develop strategic investment recommendations based on market data, competitor analysis, consumer behavior, and historical results;
- Identify brand growth opportunities through audience studies, research, and competitive analysis;
- Develop strategic media plans (online and offline) in partnership with the internal team and advertising agencies;
- Lead campaign monitoring forums with internal teams, agencies, and strategic partners;
- Ensure alignment between planning, execution, measurement, and reporting/accountability of media investments;
- Evaluate trends, formats, technologies, and innovation opportunities in media, proposing tests and pilot projects aligned with brand objectives;
- Define and monitor metrics for awareness, consideration, and business outcomes, ensuring correct measurement of media contribution across the funnel;
- Conduct critical performance analyses and propose continuous optimizations of strategy, channels, audiences, and investments;
- Prepare and deliver executive presentations for strategic audiences and senior leadership, communicating results, analyses, and recommendations clearly and assertively;
- Lead and develop the team, promoting technical skill development, performance monitoring, and professional growth of team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Deep knowledge of the media market, with strong skills to defend strategies and negotiate with media outlets;
- Prior experience managing highly complex campaigns and sizable budgets;
- Required experience with full-funnel media planning (online and offline);
- Required knowledge of full-funnel media metrics;
- Deep knowledge of the media market, as well as skills to defend strategies and negotiate with media outlets;
- Knowledge of attribution tools (MTA) and/or Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM);
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) for traffic and behavior analysis;
- Required technical mastery of paid media and programmatic platforms (Google Ads, DV360, Meta, TikTok Ads) to be able to critique and drive improvements;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills for executive presentations;
- Preferred experience leading or providing technical guidance to an agency or in-house team;
- Preferred knowledge of Media Research tools (Ibope, Comscore and Ad Intel);
- Preferred knowledge of Power BI;
- Preferred experience at advertising agencies;
- Certifications in the area are desirable;
- Experience in the education sector will be a differential.
