About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and resolve incidents related to data refreshes, integration failures, and gateway issues;
- Analyze and resolve issues related to dashboard/report performance;
- Monitor and resolve dataset and dataflow refresh failures;
- Investigate and fix problems in data pipelines and integrations;
- Configure the Power BI Gateway to ensure update availability;
- Create and adjust data models and transformations using Power Query (M);
- Develop and maintain measures and calculations using DAX;
- Work with data integration from analytical environments such as Data Lakes or relational databases;
- Support internal teams and squads with technical improvement proposals;
- Participate in technical meetings to discuss governance and improvements in operational efficiency;
- Serve as a technical proactive reference for squads in problem analysis and failure monitoring;
- Communicate clearly and concisely;
- Present effectively to large audiences;
- Work well under pressure and as part of a team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field;
- Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service;
- Experience supporting and maintaining Power BI reports;
- Knowledge of DAX;
- Experience with Power Query (M);
- Experience in incident analysis and resolution in BI environments;
- Experience with data modeling (Star Schema);
- Experience configuring and maintaining Power BI Gateway;
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices;
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes (plus);
- Experience with Dataflows in Power BI;
- Experience monitoring data pipelines;
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification (PL-300);
- Experience in enterprise BI environments with a large user base;
- Experience supporting analytical environments integrated with Data Lake or data platforms;
- Experience with data governance in BI;
- Experience with Databricks.
