About the role

  • Contribute towards project success by implementing, customizing and maintaining QAD-related functionality with standard QAD or (if justifiable) through developing customizations
  • Experience of working closely with functional leaders at Operational Level
  • Can collaborate and work closely with QAD and/or other areas/teams
  • Train, Guide, mentor and collaborate with Jrs. get them onboard
  • Contribute in Business process change or optimization
  • Ensure quality and documentation around the projects that get handed over to support

Requirements

  • 10 to 18 yrs of overall experience with minimum of 8 years into programming and development on QAD (and Mfg/Pro)
  • Hands-on experience with non-intrusive programming viz. ICT
  • Knowledge of skills like EDI, Qxtend, Excelerator, QRF, Maintenance, Inquiry, Browse etc is ideal
  • Min 3 yrs experience leading, mentoring, guiding the team
  • Exposure to integration projects
  • A broad range of QAD knowledge with decent know how about areas like Supply chain, Sales & Distribution, Finance
  • Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE)
  • Hands-on experience with QAD EE development using tools like QRF
  • Good knowledge of QAD product to configure/setup catering to business needs
  • An analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic Progress OpenEdge programming skills
  • Experience with Scrum or Agile way of working.
