About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and monitor the regional trial program (demonstration and research) for foliar/biostimulant solutions and crop nutrition
- Lead and support the field development, technical positioning, and commercial adoption of Yara’s portfolio across Galicia and Castilla y León
- Identify specific local agronomic challenges where biostimulants and foliar solutions can deliver superior crop quality, stress tolerance, and ROI for growers
- Establish and maintain partnerships with key regional Agricultural Research Centers, universities, and local advisory bodies
- Generate and deliver high-impact agronomic content tailored to Northwest crops
- Adapt messaging to seasonal weather conditions and local market shifts
- Monitor biostimulant and nutritional market trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitor movements in the region
- Analyze farmer practices, nutrient consumption, and crop trends in the Northwest region
- Support the implementation of trade marketing plans by validating branded technical materials
- Jointly visit key clients, distributors, and farmers alongside the commercial team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or closely related field (Bachelor's or Master’s level)
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in field agronomy, technical support, or business development within the agronomic, fertilizer, or biostimulant sectors
- Native Spanish speaker
- Additional languages such as Portuguese are an advantage
- Solid knowledge of regional crop nutrition, soil health, biostimulants, and foliar technologies
- Strong capability to build effective working relationships with farmers, distributors, advisers, and regional research institutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Structured, proactive, and data-oriented approach to monitoring trial results
- Comfortable using digital agronomic tools, CRM systems, and collaborative reporting platforms
- Availability and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
