About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will be part of the Finance area for the Industrial Solutions segment, acting as an important link between commercial, production, operations and finance teams.
  • You will help align strategic planning with the business’s financial objectives, supporting initiatives that impact results and the P&L of Industrial Solutions in Brazil.
  • You will play a key role in financial close processes, planning, forecasting, performance analysis and decision support.
  • Transform financial data into analyses and insights that support business unit management and contribute to the improvement and automation of area processes.
  • Serve as the primary financial interface for the commercial business units of Chemical Applications and Mining.
  • Provide technical leadership in the monthly financial close process for the commercial business units.
  • Develop, consolidate and present the financial results of the Chemical Applications LATAM business unit.
  • Critically evaluate financial reports, forecasts and other projections.
  • Act as the commercial team’s focal point in planning and budgeting processes.
  • Generate insights that contribute to process optimization and profitability maximization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields (required)
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Finance, Controllership or related areas will be considered a plus
  • Relevant experience in Controllership, FP&A, financial planning, performance analysis or business partnering
  • Experience working end-to-end, from diagnosing issues and developing solutions to monitoring measurable results
  • Experience with financial close processes, forecasting, budgeting, margin and variance analysis, and providing financial support to commercial areas
  • Experience in the chemical industrial sector will be considered a plus
  • Advanced English (minimum B2), with the ability to participate in and lead discussions with regional and global stakeholders (required)
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to structure databases, financial analyses and dashboards
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with HFM will be considered a plus
  • Strong financial knowledge, including reading and analyzing financial statements, P&L, margins, financial indicators, contribution margin and financial modeling.
