Vacation Student – Electrical Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with a dedicated mentor (Yara Engineer) and an assigned buddy (Graduate or Employee).
- Contribute to two engineering projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
- Develop and deliver a project presentation to the Yara Pilbara Leadership Team.
- Receive structured progress reviews and feedback throughout the program.
- Build both your technical expertise and professional skills in a supportive environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be in your penultimate or final year of a Master’s or Honours degree in Professional Engineering specializing in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Be studying at a Western Australian university.
- Hold permanent working rights in Australia.
- Be willing to relocate to Karratha, WA for the duration of the program (12 weeks).
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
- Provide a cover letter and resume as part of your application.
- Have a demonstrated employment history (preferred).
