About the role

  • Posting, review and reconciliation of all matters related to fixed asset accounting
  • Ensuring the proper recording, valuation and depreciation of assets in cooperation with the respective departments
  • Planning, organizing and controlling activities related to the posting of personnel and operating costs
  • Performing finance, controlling and accounting activities
  • Preparation and compilation of qualitative and quantitative information and reports within the area of responsibility
  • Handling requests from funding bodies and regulatory authorities in the context of investment projects
  • Cost and investment controlling to ensure proper posting and to derive/implement necessary measures
  • Settlement of insurance claims, review and posting of insurance premiums, and ensuring proper settlement of business travel
  • Supporting the procurement function and the Tax Department in Dülmen in the management of properties and property tax matters
  • Participating in the site’s budgeting process, monthly and annual financial closings, and inventory activities

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on Finance/Controlling
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent way of working
  • Knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • Experience with cost type and cost center accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
