Financial Crime

• Analyze transaction monitoring alerts promptly and thoroughly, documenting investigation findings in a timely manner.
• Identify and escalate any suspicious customer activity or transactions to the attention of the FinCrime Compliance Lead / MLRO.
• Work closely with the Financial Crime Compliance Lead / MLRO, Global Head of Compliance, Chief Compliance Officer, Product, and Engineering teams to regularly test transaction monitoring rules, ensuring their effectiveness.
• Assist in ongoing efforts to standardize, automate, and continuously improve the transaction monitoring framework and related processes.
• Conduct initial and ongoing customer due diligence reviews, including “Know Your Customer” checks as part of the company’s customer onboarding process.
• Handle customer relationship termination processes.
• Conduct PEP, sanctions and adverse media screenings, assisting the Financial Crime Compliance Lead / MLRO in conducting risk assessments on new and current customers throughout their lifecycle.
• Support the team in implementing internal rules, standards, processes, and guidelines related to financial crime prevention and wider compliance matters.
• Supporting the company with the handling of complaints from Payment Service Users (PSUs)
• Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics and reports for transaction monitoring and other key performance indicators.

• Own the vision, strategy and execution for the products in the Payments portfolio, measured by OKRs/ KPIs and driven by continuous improvements, based on customer and market insights
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders - Risk & Compliance, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success - to clearly understand and document product requirements
• Manage the GTM of the product; partnering with Product Marketing & Commercial Teams through launch and driving customer adoption
• Work closely with Product Owners and the engineering team to deliver on the strategy, drive effectiveness, prioritise product backlog and manage the entire product lifecycle from opportunity discovery to product launch and evolution of the product

• Own and develop the company’s public policy and regulatory strategy across the UK and EU.
• Build and articulate clear policy positions on open banking, open finance, payments and related and emerging areas of interest.
• Monitor, analyse, and influence relevant policy, legislative, and regulatory developments.
• Draft consultation responses, policy briefings, position papers, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead engagement with government departments, regulators, politicians across the UK and EU.
• Represent the company at industry forums, working groups, and external events.
• Advise senior leadership and product teams on regulatory risk, opportunity, and strategic positioning.
• Anticipate emerging policy trends in fintech, including AI, digital identity, and digital assets, and translate them into business impact.
