About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain water purification equipment
- Service water treatment equipment at customer sites throughout the United States
- Utilize a company service vehicle and air travel
- Identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Perform frequent outdoor and physically demanding manual labor in industrial environments
- Travel approximately 90% throughout the United States, typically Monday through Friday
- Complete equipment-specific training provided by the company
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of technical experience preferred; industrial maintenance, diesel mechanics, electrical, equipment operation, commercial process water, or related field experience is a plus
- Diesel mechanic experience, heavy equipment operation, electrical, technical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or plumbing experience
- Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, or skid steers
- Electrical experience with 460V and 230V systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and/or PLCs
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer-facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work regularly
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel approximately 90% throughout the United States
