About the role
- Provide pre-sales technical support during feasibility, design, and tender stages to outside sales, distributors, and consulting engineers
- Assist Engineering Team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs
- Work closely with internal colleagues and subject matter experts to review tender documents
- Provide essential support to the sales team in quotation creation process for engineered projects
- Ensure proposals are technically viable and feasible
- Review technical submittals on time and follow up closely with customer for approval
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure customer requirements are fully met
- Provide support to the application engineers in conducting application training for customer service and operations
- Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience required
- 0-2+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to use consistent business processes to achieve desired results
- Willingness and ability to always provide superior customer service
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with customers, coworkers, and management
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
