About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospecting, demonstrating and closing sales of the Gerhardt and SI Analytics products
  • Supporting the Gerhardt and SI Analytics products and services to customers across the USA and Canada with defined sales target quotas
  • Applying knowledge of products, pricing plans, competition, marketing objectives and sales skills to sell company products/services
  • Maintaining high visibility, high profile schedule of customer contact and follow-up
  • Identifying and sourcing new business resulting in the growth of the product lines at or above target
  • Administrative work including maintenance of client information in CRM (SFDC) and filing expense reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum five years capital equipment sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related science
  • General knowledge or experience in analytical chemistry (Filtration, Food, Fat, Protein and Crude fiber)
  • Must be well organized and highly motivated
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales process
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Basic knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and the metric system
