About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 service and engineering technicians
  • Set performance expectations, goals, and KPIs aligned with safety, operational, and financial objectives
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and employee relations support
  • Plan, schedule, and execute service and project work in coordination with engineering and operations teams
  • Manage labor, resources, budgets, and timelines to meet customer and business commitments
  • Resolve execution challenges and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership
  • Own service P&L performance, including revenue, cost control, margin, and productivity
  • Monitor operational and financial KPIs and drive actions to improve performance
  • Conduct safety observations, training, and audits
  • Proactively identify and mitigate safety risks and maintain required documentation
  • Drive alignment through clear, timely communication and issue resolution
  • Provide regular performance and status updates to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Water / RO Technical Foundation (Required)
  • Prior hands‑on experience with industrial water treatment and reverse osmosis systems
  • Ability to speak credibly with refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial customers on RO systems
  • Strong working knowledge of RO operations and troubleshooting
  • Proven Leadership in Safety‑Critical Environments
  • Experience leading frontline technical or craft teams in industrial, safety‑sensitive operations
  • Demonstrated ownership of safety culture, compliance, and proactive risk management
  • Operational & Financial Accountability
  • Ownership of a P&L or complex cost / revenue accountability in a service or operations environment
  • Comfort operating with KPIs, margins, backlog, resource planning, and execution discipline
  • Customer Credibility
  • Ability to confidently engage with refinery / petrochemical customers, lead service discussions, and manage escalations professionally
