About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a team of five direct reports using the MDI (Manage for Daily Improvement) process
- Collect, analyze, and report on Customer DPD (Defects per Delivery), Supplier PPM (Parts per Million), COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality), and NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports)
- Champion the 8‑Step problem‑solving methodology
- Oversee the NCR process and ensure timely resolution
- Partner with Engineering to track and resolve drawing improvements (ECMs)
- Develop and implement quality procedures and standards
- Manage Quality RMAs and drive corrective actions
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Engineering or a Science field (required)
- ISO 9001 or equivalent experience (required)
- 5+ years of Quality Manufacturing experience (required)
- 5+ years of Quality Management experience (preferred)
- Certifications such as CQA, CQE, or Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus
