About the role

  • The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key clients, and provide excellent aftersales service to retain customers.
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Generate new leads and prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities in territory.
  • Plan and manage travel to visit clients and prospects within territory.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
  • Effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Submit necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage and track expenses related to sales activities.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • 3+ years’ sales or sales related experience (Filter press, water treatment preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of consultative/value-based selling.
  • Knowledge of water treatment preferred.
  • Previous experience in the use of CRM’s is required.
  • Proficiency in ERP System.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with distributors and visit end user locations.
  • Travel percentage up to 30% (overnight travel).
