About the role

  • Sell Godwin, Flygt, and Goulds equipment brands and rental products in northern Wisconsin
  • Develop and implement rental and new equipment sales strategies to grow customer base and revenue
  • Identify and pursue new rental and sales opportunities and meet sales targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers; provide excellent customer service
  • Conduct market research, prepare sales reports, and manage administrative tasks including reservations and payments
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform counts, reconcile discrepancies, and place orders
  • Create and manage rental contracts, collect payments/deposits, and handle contract modifications and terminations
  • Ensure rental products are safe and maintained; provide safety instructions to customers
  • Collaborate with team, pursue continuous professional development, and drive results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in business development or a similar analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in CRM and business management software, such as Salesforce and ProWorkflow
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • A track record of identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
