About the role

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business analytics and reporting needs
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data pipelines
  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
  • Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure
  • Provide guidance and best practices for data management and governance
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design
  • Strong expertise in SQL, python, spark
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, in particular Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in ETL tools, orchestration, data integration technologies
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and data processing technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
