About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive fund formation with external fund counsel, including vehicle and jurisdiction selection, LPA and side letters, GP and management company setup, and regulatory perimeter
Own the LPA’s terms, economics, and governance mechanics and translate them into operational reality
Select and manage fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, banking/custody, and compliance vendors
Negotiate provider scopes and fees and manage the fund’s operating cost model
Run capital calls and distributions, LP onboarding and KYC/AML, expense management, and cash movement controls
Own valuation policy, NAV oversight, borrowing-base mechanics, and leverage facility administration
Build quarterly ILPA-aligned reporting, capital account statements, and LP communications infrastructure
Maintain DDQ responses, operational due-diligence readiness, and operations sections of the data room
Establish valuation, allocation, conflicts, ESG/AML policies, regulatory filings, and audit coordination
Document processes, controls, owners, and audit trails for core workflows
Build and mentor the junior operations team and integrate with Xsolla’s finance and legal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years in fund operations, fund CFO, or fund controllership roles at private credit or other private capital funds
Taken at least one private fund from formation through first close
Deep working knowledge of LPA terms, fund administration, capital call mechanics, and ILPA reporting standards
Credit-fund knowledge of leverage facilities, borrowing bases, loan administration, and asset-level reporting is a strong plus
Hands-on operator comfortable being the entire operations function on day one
Rigorous documentation and controls discipline
Strong commercial judgment on provider selection, fee negotiation, and build-vs-outsource decisions
Clear communication skills for explaining fund mechanics to investors, borrowers, and leadership
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
CPA, CFA charter, or MBA preferred
