Accounting Intern
XR TradingAccounting Intern supporting financial data management, reconciliation, and report production at XR Trading. Involves Excel use, teamwork, and workflow documentation in a fully remote environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter, clean and reconcile financial data in Excel, accounting systems, and internal databases.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and basic macros to reduce manual work.
- Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations, AP processing, contract and schedule updates, and recurring monthly close tasks.
- Produce standard financial reports and organize audit support (download data, compile workpapers, label files).
- Help document workflows and prototype simple automations (templates, macros, excel formulas).
- Knowledge of AI tools a plus.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of a minimum 1.5 years’ coursework from a 4-year university
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, accounting information systems, or finance
- Proficient on Microsoft Excel and other office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow complex instructions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrates professionalism
- Exhibits friendliness and courtesy
- Ability to multitask, work independently and maintain organization
- Motivated self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
