Chief Technology Officer

• Serve as Chief Technology Officer: oversee XPRIZE’s IT infrastructure, platforms, and budgets including Azure cloud services and enterprise systems
• Manage public-facing platforms: website and community engagement web/app
• Oversee proprietary systems: Prize Operations Platform (POP) and Learning Management System (LMS)
• Lead cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management efforts for IT and AI systems
• Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and long-term technology strategy
• Serve as Executive Vice President, Deep Tech & Exploration: lead global domain vision, strategy, and prize ideation
• Manage the Deep Tech & Exploration Brain Trust and coordinate Visioneering and innovation activities
• Oversee the $5M XPRIZE Google Quantum Applications prize and future competitions in quantum, robotics, AI/ML, nanotech, materials, and space
• Actively support fundraising for new prizes, including philanthropic and corporate sponsorships
• Provide strategic oversight of program teams and prize operations, advising Directors/Managers on day-to-day execution
• Serve as accountable executive, advisor, and connector across the domain and organization with budget authority on program spending within the domain
