About the role
- Identify, structure, and secure strategic partnerships across carbon, REC/I-REC, water, fuels, and power markets.
- Develop commercial proposals and lead end-to-end negotiation processes.
- Drive partnerships such as new carbon compliance exchanges or local I-REC marketplaces.
- Oversee integration of new registries, exchanges, and data partners into Xpansiv Connect™ via open APIs.
- Own executive-level partner relationships and ensure long-term alignment.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Market Operations, Legal, and Commercial teams on execution.
- Monitor global environmental market developments and inform SMS strategy.
- Represent Xpansiv in meetings, working groups, and market development forums.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in environmental commodities, exchanges, registries, or related infrastructure.
- Proven success developing and closing complex partnerships
- Deep understanding of environmental markets including carbon, RECs/I-RECs, and attribute tracking systems.
- Strong commercial negotiation, relationship management, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and executive teams.
