About the role

  • Identify, structure, and secure strategic partnerships across carbon, REC/I-REC, water, fuels, and power markets.
  • Develop commercial proposals and lead end-to-end negotiation processes.
  • Drive partnerships such as new carbon compliance exchanges or local I-REC marketplaces.
  • Oversee integration of new registries, exchanges, and data partners into Xpansiv Connect™ via open APIs.
  • Own executive-level partner relationships and ensure long-term alignment.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Market Operations, Legal, and Commercial teams on execution.
  • Monitor global environmental market developments and inform SMS strategy.
  • Represent Xpansiv in meetings, working groups, and market development forums.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in environmental commodities, exchanges, registries, or related infrastructure.
  • Proven success developing and closing complex partnerships
  • Deep understanding of environmental markets including carbon, RECs/I-RECs, and attribute tracking systems.
  • Strong commercial negotiation, relationship management, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and executive teams.
