About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively identify, research, and pursue fleet prospects.
- Break into new accounts through targeted outreach, networking, industry events, and referrals.
- Develop and manage relationships with fleet operators from initial contact through contract close, vehicle build, and delivery.
- Take a consultative sales approach by actively listening, understanding operational needs, and proposing tailored vehicle solutions.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales quotas, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate and timely sales activity tracking, pipeline management, and reporting in the CRM (HubSpot).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership to ensure technical alignment and seamless delivery.
- Anticipate and address customer objections, finding solutions to advance deals.
- Stay current on EV market trends, competitor activity, and customer challenges.
- Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product offerings.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for meetings, demonstrations, and relationship management, based on the requirements of assigned accounts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Proven B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in transportation, commercial vehicles, or industrial products
- Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities at various stages of the pipeline
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) and Google Suite.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling to commercial fleets preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with RFP processes and fleet procurement cycles is a plus.
- Understanding of EV technology and fleet electrification is a plus.
- Genuine and coachable character.
- Ok with ambiguity and creating processes - problem solver.
- Project management skills - follow up and engages with customers
